CardAccess ® 495 combines powerful features with ease of operation. It contains built-in"context sensitive help" to guide the operator through any procedure while providing additional information as requested. Commands and prompts are easy to understand. Among the standard features are video imaging, floor plans, and CCTV control.

CardAccess ® 495 is designed for both large and small system applications. In all larger applications, CardAccess ® 495 can perform hundreds of tasks simultaneously. For maximum effectiveness and flexibility, it allows multiple operators to simultaneously perform any access control, security, or environmental control function from up to five workstations.

Simply load the software and connect the host PC to any combination of Continental's Smarterm ®, Superterm ®, Microterm ®, or Miniterm ® intelligent controllers. Utilizing initial programming from the host computer, each intelligent controller immediately works independently at or near the door. This distributed processing configuration ensures quicker access and continuous system operation even when communication with the host PC is interrupted.
